So as you may have learned in class, trigonometric functions can be related to find the sides of a triangle, the parts of a circle, or a wave when the function is graphed. But if you are curious as I am, then you must be wondering how such a seemingly abstract concept such as sine (something that is supposedly a wave when graphed) can be related to the parts of a circle or even more puzzlingly, the sides of a triangle.
