Polar Functions

Limacon - looks like a 'lima' bean

r=a+b sin(Θ)

r=a+b cos(Θ)

Cardioid - looks like a heart - (cardio as in cardiovascular)

a-b sin(Θ)

a-b cos(Θ)

Rose

r=a sin(nΘ)

r=a cos (nΘ)

To find n:

For number of petals = p

If p is odd, n=p

If p is even n=2p

Archimedes Spiral - The thing that looks really trippy when you make it black and white, and no, it's not moving.

r=aΘ+b
