So this week was a kind of laid back week for me, I don't know if it was like that for everyone else though. We did a bunch of reviewing in class and while doing that I realized that I did NOT remember too much so I am expecting a pretty bad grade on this exam. It probably will be a beast, but anyway finding the center of Conics and the radius didn't seem too hard.
Steps:
1. The equation of a circle in standard form: (x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2
the center=(h,k) and r=radius
2. If not in standard form, you must complete the square to put in standard form
3. Given the center and a point, you can use the distance formula to find the radius
Ex.: (x-3)^2+(y+7)^2
Center:(3,-7)
Radius:√19
Ex. with completing the square:
x^2+y^2-6x+4y-12=0
x^2-6x+__+4^2+4y+__=12
x^2-6x+9+4^2+4y+4=12+9+4
(x-3)^2+(y+2)^2=25
Center:(3,-2)
Radius:25
Now what I am struggling with is remembering all the things for the Exam tomorrow, I'm very nervous and don't know how I'll be able to do it. If anyone has any way to help me with this little problem I'd appreciate it very much.

you have taken the exam already just in small increments, and it will come to you when you see the problem.
you do have to study.
make sure that you dont just give up on the study guide. take the time to fill out each problem by relating your notes to each problem because by looking up a process and working problems through the process repeatedly will ingrain it in your brain.
i think the most important thing you should do after studying is stay positive.
go into the test with the mindset that you know what you know and youll be able to answer what you know whatever you dont will just not be answered and thats okay. i promise you'll do a hundred times better than if you go into the exam expecting to fail. Expecting to fail is a self fulfilling prophacy. Its also the cause of brain blanks.
Good Luck terrio
no worries you'll do fine.
