This week was pretty easy for me. Chapter 3 kinda got me scared a little bit. What i found out to be super easy was inequalities. Of course i had that one question about how the equal sign replaced the <> sign but it was a question just to make sure i knew how to do the problem. But one thing i might have trouble with is figuring out which sign is "and" and which sign is "or". Of course i know right now that <> means "or". And i know that you have to switch the first sign for >.
What i dont understand is what we learned in Chapter 4 with the infinity stuff. I dont get the overall point of it and what to do. I mainly dont know how to solve the problems and how find domain and range so i will have problems with that. But other than that, it was pretty easy. Now im just praying that i got at lease a C on the test.

the domain for all polynomials is (-ve infinity, +ve infinity)
ReplyDeletefor absolute value and square roots, you have to plug into your calculator to find the range.
make sure you read over your notes on domain and range, it explains EVERYTHING about the domain and range. It also goes into detail about how to find the domain for each type (quadratics, fractions, absolute value, square roots)
I know it is a lot of notes, but when you actually sit down and read them and turn around a work a problem, they make sense.
If you have ANY questions about domain and range, just ask. I can help explain in more detail if you need.
